Public templates

Templates are internal by default and available only to their project. You can make a template public when another AgentBox project needs to create sandboxes from it.

Change visibility

Open the project in the AgentBox dashboard, go to Templates, and open the actions menu for the template. Select Set Public.

The template overview now shows its visibility as Public. Select Set Internal from the same menu to stop sharing it.

Use a public template

A project outside the owner project must use the full template name: project-slug/template-name. Pass this value as the template name when creating a sandbox. If you need a specific tag, append it as project-slug/template-name:tag.

The short template-name form resolves templates only inside the current project.
